THE IDEOLOGY

Founder and editorial director of Revolution, Wei Koh, due to his passion for Zombie tv series, always hoped that the magazine can one day feature a zombie apocalypse themed watch editorial. When he commissioned photographer Munster and myself with this project, we jumped at the chance. Munster himself is a serious zombie movie fanatic, and for me, I never minded a little gore and thought this was an exciting assignment unlike most watch editorials.

Luxury shock-resistant watches were featured in the photo story, carefully selected by Revolution Online’s editorial team. Munster and I both worked together on conceptualising and planning out each scene, backdrop, zombie kill, with a cinematic-like narrative. In order for the imageries to be as realistic as possible, a great deal of effort was spent on the models’ special effect make up as well as in post-production retouching by digital imaging artist Goh Ci Wie.
